Strong Ponits of LCD and Plasma...

Plasma

1
.Plasma tv are able to be view from many different angle and it still be nice and shape. In other word you can look into the Plasma tv from either right side, left side or even from the top and the picture will still be the same quality as if you were looking to the Plasma tv straight in front of the television. However, this do not applied to the LCD tv. This is because when you using the LCD tv and looking into it from different angle, the picture tend to get darker and darker depend on the angle you are lookin into the LCD tv but if you are looking into it straight it still have its best quality.

2.For Plasma tv, it has a better contrast compared to the LCD tv. The contrast is the different between the darkest image and the brighteest image from that television. Why is low contrast is consider to be negative? This is because that if the television you have, has a low contrast it will made the dark imgae seem to be grayish not dark. While, white image seem to be a bit off white.

3.The cost for the Plasma screen is lower compared to the LCD screen.

4.Lastly, is that the respond time for the Plasma screen is better than the LCD screen.

5.Plasma tv are usually has a 37" - 60" screen

LCD

1. LCD tv usually has a better resolution compared to the Plasma.

2.Dot Pitch i
n LCD is smaller than that of the Plasma tv. This is consider to be a strong point, because when you connect the television to the computer it will have a clearer and better quality image.

3.LCD tv does not 100 percent reflect light because LCD is not a mirror and it does not create 100 percent reflection. So this made high resolution image.

4.LCD tv does not have "screen burn". Screen burn is when the
screen is showing the same image for a long time such as black strip in some movie at the top or the banner or brand for the channel. When you chage to other channel it still might have a trace of the old image that were showing for a long time.

5.LCD use up lesser power and is 40 percent save. Plasma is also hotter than the LCD tv.

6.LCD screen is brighter than the Plasma tv.

7.LCD usually made for a teleyision with 15" - 45" screen

  1. This is an ongoing debate and you made some great points. I work with Sharp and whichever way you decide to go, you can't go wrong with one of their flat screen TVs.
